The global market for Environmental Technologies and Services is diverse and offers great growth potential for regional firms. The world market for environmental goods and services was valued at US$515 billion in 2000 and is forecast to increase to US$688 billion by 2010 representing annual growth of almost 3%. The UK environmental industry has a total turnover of approximately £25 billion, which represents a 4.7% share of world markets.

Envirolink Northwest also manages Remade Northwest - a project within the waste management, recycling and technology sector support programme that specifically supports the waste reprocessing and recycling sector by developing sustainable markets for recycled materials and recycled content products.
