CROWNING ACHIEVEMENT FOR SIXTY YEARS OF SUCCESS
At this year’s North West Regional Construction Awards held in Southport, D Morgan PLC of Ellesmere Port won the coveted Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) of the Year Award.
The company, which celebrates its sixtieth anniversary this year, was also shortlisted for the Environmental Sustainability Award for its work on the New Heartlands Housing Market Renewal Initiative, where it has achieved record levels of recycling by reusing 90% of materials from the housing properties it has demolished in Liverpool.

Businesses urged to use free service
The head of Business Link Northwest is urging small and medium sized businesses to continue making use of its free service while ministers decide on the future shape of government business support. The coalition government is currently reviewing the delivery of government business support as part of its commitment to replacing Regional Development Agencies with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) from April 2012.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) made easy with Envirolink Northwest
With help from Envirolink Northwest two renewable energy companies have now made regional firsts and have become MCS accredited this summer. Jacob Eco Energy Limited has become the first (MCS) accredited installer of Photo Voltaics (PV) in Manchester and Sustaburn are the first renewable energy installer to achieve MCS for biomas in the North West.

Envirolink Northwest Low Carbon Garden goes from Green to a spectacular Silver Gilt
Envirolink Northwest is now the proud owner of a Silver Gilt Medal, which was awarded by the RHS for our Tatton show garden yesterday afternoon. Pip Probert the North West based garden designer has achieved a Silver Medal for two years running and wanted to improve on this for herself and Envirolink Northwest at this year’s RHS Tatton Show.

Envirolink Northwest shows gardeners how to grow green
Envirolink Northwest has worked with Pip Probert, award winning North West garden designer from Outer Spaces, to create the Envirolink Northwest Low Carbon Garden for the RHS Show Tatton Park. The garden showcases renewable energy and recycled products sourced from local suppliers, and demonstrates how easy it is to incorporate these greener products into any garden, landscaping or building scheme.
