| Centre for Construction Innovation NWDA Conference: Sustainable Buildings Best Practice in the North West (23/09/2010 at 09:30 to 13:30) In 2007 the Northwest Regional Development Agency introduced their Sustainable Buildings Policy which set standards in ten key policy areas for developments seeking NWDA funding. The NWDA launched their ‘Sustainable Building Awareness Raising and Knowledge Transfer Programme’, run by CCI. The programme’s goals are to make public and private sector developers, Local Authorities, architects and contractors aware of the policy and practice in the region, thus helping the region move towards delivering a more sustainable built environment. | |
